    I bought this to replace the stock one on my GoPro Hero 11 as soon as I realized that the stock one didn't have the mounting option for a tripod without the whole mounting shoe.

    Installation was super simple. Unscrew the existing one using the provided screwdriver (a very nice inclusion with this item), pull that out, stick the new one in and replace the screws using the new screws provided with this. In total, I think it took me about 2 minutes to complete installation.

    The only con I can think of is that the little wings are not magnetic like the stock ones on the Hero 11. Not a big deal though. They stay in place just fine through friction.

    The tripod mounting thread matched up perfectly with my mini Manfrotto tripod, and it's very sturdy. No change of it backing out or wobbling off. I would definitely recommend this product.
