This will last forever, made with solid aluminium. If you’re going to film 9:16 aspect ratio you will be needing this adapter!
I even went in to replace my plastic tripod adapter with the HSU version because their so well built.
The mount comes as pictured plus a couple Allen screws with wrench and washers. It fit both my Hero 3 with skeleton frame and my Hero 9. With the sock GoPro plastic thumb screws I was able to just open the battery door so I'll probably use it that way so that it is easier to remove from the mount. I missed in the original photo's that it has a 1/4" camera mount on the bottom as well, so +1 for that! It does add a bit of weight compared to the plastic style connectors, but it is more rigid which is nice. Fair price too.
